Governor Meets with Prominent Turkish Leaders in Atlanta  



On Wednesday, October 9th, 2013, Governor Nathan Deal met with members of the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and other distinguished leaders of the Turkish community. The meet and greet luncheon was fostered to showcase the enterprises the Turkish community has established in Georgia as well as to enhance Turkish-American relations; a necessary condition for building relationships and advancing business endeavors. Many influential leaders of the Turkish community were in attendance. Speeches were given by constituents of the Istanbul Center, Turkic American Federation of Southeast, the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and the governor himself. Before departure, the governor participated in a brief question and answer session that revealed his interest in further collaborating with the Turkish Community. Governor Deal then thanked and congratulated the Turkish community for their entrepreneurial efforts and the creation of successful businesses in the United States.
